The white ‘frosting’ you see immediately after treatment will disappear after around twenty minutes and you can expect to see some swelling and scabbing.
You will be given some aloe vera gel to take home to keep the area moisturised and numbing cream can be used to avoid discomfort during treatment.
It's impossible to say exactly how many sessions you would need, as this goes on many factors, such as ink used, density, location of the tattoo, and the individual's immune system and general health, but you would get a better indication after your first treatment.
Laser Tattoo Removal sessions can be done every 6-8 weeks at a minimum, to allow the skin to fully heal, but longer can be left in between sessions for better results.
